What is your mission with this blog and what brought you to the conclusion that you specifically needed to fill the role of cringe internet era historian?
my mission is to documents our cursed tumblr heritage.
i’m uniquely qualified for the job due to years of experience posting cringe.
on my resume you’ll find:
- extensive participation in forums and message boards during the rawwr random XD era
- an intimate knowledge of now considered ‘obsolete’ emojis, including, but not limited to: :^), xD, xP, X__x, ^_^, ^.^, ^-^, O.o, o__O, (◕‿◕✿), ≧◡≦, (✿ ♥‿♥)
- a portfolio of old (unpublished) internet icons, with text such as ‘come over to the dark side, we have cookies’ (all made in ms paint)
- three months experience with farmville
- and last but not least, eight years tumblr experience, dating back all the way to the ‘what is air’ era
