Also just as an FYI, Haaretz, +972, Jewish Currents, and Al-Jazeera English are all publishing reporting on the war on Gaza that is deeply investigated and cites on the ground sources. Haaretz Hebrew has done laudable reporting to clarify what happened on 10/7 and pushed back on inaccurate claims (and they are getting aggressively attacked by the government for doing so). NYT broke the story that Israel know about the plans a year in advance and did nothing. You absolutely do not need to get Gaza war news from Native News/Modoweiss/Electronic Intifada/etc.
Hell, Jacobin has published good stuff! Ditto Truthout!
Also there are observer groups like Human Rights Watch operating on the ground & confirming reports. B’Tselem is an Israeli group which tracks human rights abuses, and has been for decades. Physicians For Human Rights is monitoring too.
If you are looking for more detailed information into human rights issues than may turn up in something published by, say, AP or CNN these are good starting points which again are not coming from a “Here’s what ~They~ don’t want you to know”, conspiracy-minded standpoint.
gee thanks, hospital bombing denier, we’ll be sure to get our news from only outlets YOU trust and not a palestinian-run one like electronic intifada. fucking dipshit
Imagine telling people to read CNN or NYT for accurate factual information 😂 you sound like absolute clowns.
They really didn’t though. This was just a paper written by someone about the holes in Israel’s intelligence apparatus and how israel ignored warnings about Hamas conducting more trainings I guess. There’s no evidence that they knew about Al Aqsa flood and the extent of the operation?
It’s known that when violence against Palestinians escalate, US media’s coverage becomes increasingly biased and inaccurate and that includes the NYT. Holly Jackson even wrote about this in her article “The New York Times distorts the Palestinian struggle: A case study of anti-Palestinian bias in US news coverage of the First and Second Palestinian Intifadas”
I still remember this Ramadan when Israeli soldiers invaded al aqsa compound and beat Palestinians inside the mosque with clubs, the NYT claimed that the worshippers “barricaded” themselves inside… As if Palestinians were chased into the mosque and holding it down as a fort instead of being there to partake in a Ramadan tradition where they sleep overnight. So yeah don’t trust the NYT.
Here’s a clue when an America newspaper says “close source from the IDF” that means it’s no good. The idf constantly gives false information intentionally so.
We even have former NYT employees that recently quit and have spoken about how they felt that their newspaper has lost all journalistic integrity during the start of the coverage of Gaza
Also I have no fucking clue why is it so hard for you guys to believe any claim that Israel bombed the courtyard of al ahli hospital. They were calling the hospital for days threatening them if they didn’t evacuate. And when the courtyard was bombed, they started to upload videos from 2022 to pin it on Gaza militants. If they didn’t do it, then why fake evidence
The electronic intifada is a good news site. It has palestinian and jewish writers and I genuinely don’t understand why it’s mocked except for its name. They dont source from the IDF unlike the Haaretz who often backtracks and apologizes for reporting after Palestinian reporting disproves their sources.
Anyways…you could’ve just believed a Palestinian instead of blocking and mocking them.
girlbossjodiarias frequently reblogs from zionists. don’t give them a platform, just block them
