seriously though this is kind of not okay. the 50th anniversary of a show that is still running is a big deal. this only happens once and for another event to take it over is kind of silly. there are 365 days in a year. why did you pick the one that you know will be celebrated by millions of people all over the world. please…. give us back our day.

Seriously, normally I’m uncool with one fandom (even my own) claiming something that everyone can enjoy, but seriously, Doctor Who is my, and many other people’s, childhood. It would be nice to have a day like this just to celebrate it alone. It’s like someone deciding to celebrate their half-birthday on your ACTUAL birthday. You have the 23rd of July, please let us have the 23rd of November for at least just one year.
