I remember when tumblr was full of intellectual and passionate activists that had a pretty good comprehension of their respective subjects waay back in 2011. But now it’s full of people who refuse to take in new information. They refuse to grow anymore because they think that where they’re at intellectually is it, that they don’t need anymore info. They’re more hateful and violent than they ever have been and it’s getting worse. The worst bit of it is they’re no longer helping anyone, not even their own communities. What has happened to the community as a whole is just sad. Soul crushingly sad.
